Repair	Repairs to gold settings are more frequent as the gold is very malleable. Fairly straight forward to repair.		Platinum will not wear out. It is resistant to damage but it is also difficult to repair.
Care	Scratches can be taken out of gold easily. Gold will not tarnish.		Will not wear away as as gold does. Will not tarnish.
